St George's School, Colchester

Hi all,

We are the Friends of St George’s Team. We differ a little from a regular PTA, we have the privilege of anyone who supports St. Georges School can be a committee member not just parents or teachers.

We have the school year packed with exciting events for the children and their families.

We meet on a regular basis to plan events and ensure these are the best we can produce. Our Annual General Meetings are every year between September and October, this is where the core team is voted in for the year.

We are always looking for new members and new ideas to bring life and joy to the school community.

As a group we have the amazing support of the school staff and we love that they get involved in the events.

Our current core group consists of Chair (Victoria Ellesley), Vice-Chair (Michael Ridgewell), Treasurer (Shanna Bussey) Vice-Treasuer (Rachel Hart) and Secretary (Zoe Ridgewell).

We have our committee members, Lee Atkins, Ana Dimitrova and Angela Vicarey.
